I am a full-time investor based in Hong Kong. For close to 25 years I've managed capital for global institutions, family offices and high-net-worth individuals. This includes trading through multiple market cycles and crises, including the dotcom bubble burst (2000-2002), the global financial crisis (2007-2008), the European debt crisis (2010-2012) and the COVID-19 shock (2020).

Too often, I’ve seen individual investors chase the latest fads or take on excessive risk without understanding the underlying investments nor contemplating overall portfolio positioning and strategies.
